Do you need a special faucet for reverse osmosis?
The use of an air gap faucet is required by many plumbing codes. The requirement is often not taken into account. If there isn’t an air gap request, our standard units come with non-air gap models.
Can you use any faucet for reverse osmosis?
If you have enough clearance from the regular faucet, the hole can be used for the RO faucet. The soap dispensers and spray hose holes can be used for the RO faucet if they aren’t being used often. The hole on the sink needs to be at least 7/16” in diameter.
